Green Initiatives

Below is a list of several green practices we participate in-
we thought you may want to know!

• Green seal paper towels, toilet tissue and facial tissue throughout
• Sales marketing pieces and guest paper products are printed on 100% recycled stock
• Guests are offered e-folios at departure
• Office paper is re-used, printing on both sides to reduce waste
• Several administrative forms have been switched to electronic vs. printed
• We provide recycling bins in all guestrooms, admin space and throughout our public space
• We make an effort to keep email in email and not printed on our desk
• Green seal certified cleaning products where applicable- including laundry detergents
• We have switched 90% of our paint to low or no VOC paint
• We use rags instead of paper towels
• We have a linen re-use program in place
• We use environmentally sensitive amenities in our guestrooms
• We have a preventative maintenance plan in place ensuring equipment is running efficiently, filters are changed and energy is used properly
• We have 90% energy efficient lighting with a bulb recycling program in place
• We are proud to be bleach free
